hey how do you change songs from mp3 to .mid i have tryed things over the internet but nothing has worked can someone please give me a step by step proscess on how to do this.
thanx in advance

that would be difficult as a mid file is similar to polyphonic ringtones in that it sounds like it was made with a keyboard and a mp3 sounds real, as in ripped off a cd.

then how are people puting all these song on there phones as ringtones? they were saying they would put the song in .mid format. what other formates will the kx5 accept as ringtones and how do i get an mp3 format to that one.
thanx

ok here's the thing the kx5 has a mp3 and mid decoder, so how people are doing this is by changing just the .mp3 to .mid, this allows you to set the file as a ringtone, to do this you have to go into your windows folder option and select something like "show file extentions"

load the ringtones into the svdsound file then simply rename the file to .mid Then you can assign in from the saved sound file under media!
