I just bought a new motorola phone, and copied all the contact info from phone to sim, insert sim to my L7 and copied from SIM to phone, but i guess because of the system different, it only got the numbers, but not the names, what should I do? I don't want to re-enter 200+ contacts!! Is it ok if i cross post this to the motorola board?

that's quite downgrade, isn't it? 703 > L7

the fault lies on the Sharp side of things i believe, since it uses reading fields..... and has a different way ot arranging contacts - well, that's if you have Japanese firmware. Best thing to do would be to sync the contacts with a PC... edit the CSV file, and sync that new edited CSV with your Moto.

I can use the handset manager to manage the contacts, but I don't know how to turn it into a csv file.

i don't have my 703SHf with me right now - is there any way to export the contacts into Windows Address Book? Since that's what you need to be doing... if theres a way.... Otherwise you could also bluetooth the contacts over?
