(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Hello,
I bought my Motorola L6 unlocked off e-bay. I can't download ringtones etc b/c I cannot connect to the internet.."browser set up issue." I took it into Cingular to have them fix it and they made it worse and now I don't even get text messages anymore...

I changed my browser set-up via these instructions I found online:

Press the Menu Key.
Scroll to and select WebAccess.
Scroll to and select Web Sessions.
scroll to new entry and press select
name this entry Cingular
Scroll to and select Edit.

enter these setting...they are case sensitive

Name: Cingular
Homepage: http://device.home>
Service Type 1: WAP
Gateway IP 1: 66.209.11.61
Port 1: 9201
Domain 1: <blank>
Service Type 2: WAP
Gateway IP 2: <blank>
Port 2: 9201
Domain 2: <blank>
DNS 1: <blank>
DNS 2: <blank>
Timeout: 15 minutes

User Name 1: <blank>
Password 1: <blank>

Speed (Bps) 2: 9600
Line Type 2: ISDN
GPRS APN: wap.cingular
User Name: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM

It said it's case sensitive, but there is no way to enter the password in all CAPS.
Now when I go to web access it looks like it's finally connecting...but then I get an error message of "Data Server not available."

What next?? Please help...this is making me nuts

have cingular send you the settings OTA:
log onto your cingular account, in the center under phone/device pick SLVR L7, at the top click on support –phone/device, then under device setup click on auto configure for media services.

I have Moto Razr V3 with the same problems as one of the other writers. I can now get the internet after changing my setting to what you recommended but I still can't send or receive pictures. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
