is it possible to mod this thing at all? i've tried bitbim,p2kman, p2kcommander, motokit and a few other peices of software, onlything that doesnt freeze when i use it in MPT.

anyone know if it's even possible?

And i have not tried p2kseem, because i have not been able to find a good donwload spot.

I have been successful at putting ring tones and pictures on mine with MPT.

Are you running Motorola PST or Motorola MSU in the background while trying to use the p2k programs? These programs will not work unless Motorola PST or MSU is running in the background to put the phone into suspend mode. Also, you may have to do a seem edit to enable " File Access in QPST" before BitPim will work properly.

Yes MSU is the Motorola Software Update . Download it and install without the phone connected. Launch MSU, hook up the phone and wait for MSU to recognize your phones ESN. You may have to plug and unplug your phone a couple of times to get the drivers loaded. After it recognizes your phone minimize MSU and launch P2Kcommander. You should be set to mod with P2Kcommander.
