Sidekick 3 Side Pieces???

I dropped my sidekick 3 awhile back and both sides pieces fell off and got lost. the sk3 stopped taking a charge today. Other than the missing side pieces the phone is in pretty good shape and the guy at the store said t-mobile would replace it if I could find pieces to put on there.

My question is do they make these pieces? I have seen those colored ones on ebay but do those snap over the original case or do they get switched out? Id hate to try and find a broken sk3 just for these pieces and then mail the phone in.

Also, do you think they would take the phone back without the side pieces? Thanks for the help.

I've sent back two Sidekick 3's without the side pieces as warranty replacements and both were accepted and new ones were sent to me with the side pieces.

they didnt question it at all? without the side pieces it looks pretty beat up.

how about the ones on ebay?? can I put those on it without the side pieces and mail it in?

No, those go over the original pieces. But I'm telling you, they don't care either way.
