I was offered a job at a COR store. I currently work at a Sam's Club Kiosk and love it. My boss is fantastic, very flexible, and besides one of my coworkers, I really enjoy the job. I can tell you I make anywhere between 16-20 dollars an hour on a regular basis. As you can see I have been offered a job at a COR store and I am about 90% sure I want the job, considering I think the money will be better.
I was just wondering if you guys had any feedback as far as this is concerned. I am really not interested in whether you guys enjoy your job or not, its retail, I know. I go to school and this is a great job for a college kid to have, just wondered if you had any valuable input for me. Both of the managers at the COR store I am considering are awesome, been there for quite some time and really straight forward and down to earth.
Let me know your thoughts. Obviously I have put alot of thought into this, just wondering what you employees thought.
Thanks

Generally you will do more customer service but the bump in wage should offset the change. What you should really find out is what the store traffic is like and the number of staff. COR stores tends to be overstaffed so you might see a decrease in your commission checks and increased stress to meet quotas.

SC kiosks is a really really low stress job. Cingular corperate is a really really high stress job. If you are clearing $16-20/hr now you are already in the pay range most COR reps make. Choose wisely.

I'm staying. Thanks for the input. Made my decision this morning.
