Hello, I have searched high and low for the answer to this question and I have found very little. I currently have a net connection via Blue Tooth, Blue Soleil B.T. adapter and M.P.T. with my windows XP laptop through my V710 going through a cdma modem 1xrtt connection, no EVDO available. I want to be able to share the connection with a Windows ME desktop and IMAC Desktop running Sys 0s 9. (I have another B.T. adapter in the desktop with Blue Soleil but no M.P.T.) I know it can be done, I just haven't found how yet. I have D-Link wireless ethernet router that I use to network the PC with the Mac, ( I know that won't work with B.T.) but I don't know how to set it up to use the Internet Connection Sharing, for now I would just be happy to get the laptop sharing the connection with the P.C. desktop. Also I have a USB phone tools cable I can use as well. One thing I did find is on the Blue Soleil support page and it's discouraging because it says something about only being able to Internet connection share via P.A.N. or L.A.P. I consulted my software manual and found nothing. Here is that excerpt from their site.
" 16. How to share my Internet connection to other computers via Bluetooth?
If you use PAN service to access Internet, you can use Internet Connection Sharing(ICS).
On the other hand, you can use LAP to access Internet.
However, for the reason of technical, it cannot support a computer to be a "TCP/IP Gateway" with PAN whose IP address is "192.168.0.x" now. We will solve this problem in the next version. For your convenience, please use some Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) software such as "Winroute Pro", "Sygate", “BlueNAT” and "Internet Gateway 6.0" to solve this problem.
For more details, please refer to related document in the Online help or User Manual."
Has anyone else been able to work around this?
Thanks
