operating system?

i have a t mobile dash and im looking for the updated operating system for it and any other reccomneded up grades i am new to this

What do you mean by upgrade the OS? Its a Windows Smartphone, the only thing you could do is change to the HTC S620 ROM.

i have the sms threader downloaded on the phone and and it gives a error reading when opening it says i need the newer version of microsoft or something like that for it to work

Might help to give what it EXACTLY says. It probably says you need a newer version of .NET Compact Framework. Which I cannot find the latest .cab file so if someone has it please post it.

You can download latest .net Compact framework 2.0 SP1 from microsoft website.
