Ok-- here's a question I have about the calendar apps out there for Smartphones.

How do you add a new appointment that will last until, say May 18th, that occurs every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday? I can only seem to add an appointment that is every Monday (or Wednesday or whatever the day may be) forever, with no ending date.

Any advice?

Monday... Wednesday... Friday...

Wel 1st of all, the in built Pocket Outlook PIM SUCKS!

If u r stil using it, I suggest u use any of d followin...

- SBSH Papyrus
- eXtreme Agenda
- Pocket Informant
- Agenda One

I think all these PIMs has option to set custom recurrence for both appointments & tasks...

Yeah right now I am using Agenda One and it's not an option there. Just an option for Every Monday
Every 2nd Monday
Every 3rd Monday
etc.
etc.

Any other ideas?

I'm usin Papyrus. There's an option for custom recurrence.
Try d demo n c whether it suits u.

If dat doesn't solv ur problem, u'd hav 2 create appointments for a specific day nd mak it repeat 4 dat particular day...

Anyway try Papyrus demo...

city time alarms or john cody alerts are alarm progrmas thet will place a reminder into the callendar applet so that it show on the today screen and these are the only programs I know that will do as you wish with one setting, all others will need you to set one for mondays one for wednesdays and one for fridays,

hope this helps

Ok- I downloaded the trial for Pocket Informant and it seems to do it. Not as intuitive as Agenda One, but it does it.

Why don't you just create it in desktop Outlook and sync it over? I only use POL to create calendar events when I'm away from computers.

Does Pocket Informant has a Contact menu as Agenda One? Can I browse through contacts just as in the default PIM?

No -- Pocket Informant doesn't have a default contacts program. Just a Calendar and Task application.
