Has anyone actually worn out a 903SH keypad letters/numbers?

I also have a 803T and I perfer the keypad on that phone because it looks like "glass keys" and the letters/numbers are under the see throu keys.

I've been using my 903 since December 2005 and none of the keypad keys have lost their paint yet. The only keys I've 'worn out' are the centre confirm key (badly scratched) and the red dot key on the side of the phone (also badly scratched). They're both that way now because I've used my nail to press them on many occasions.

Good to hear! I really like this phone that I want to perserve the conditon of it for aslong as I can. I use alot of SMS & MMS so I was concerned about the key wearing out.

Keyboard from my 902 (since it`s dead I took apart base part of the phone to see what`s inside) after 2+ years of extensive usage:

Looks good, only side keys are worn and d-pad has some scratches.

and my 903 (more than half year of usage):

almost as new Hardly visible scratches on green button only.
I have question for you guys, did you notice factory marks on my keybard? I took the pictures the way you can see them because they`re visible only on specific angle. My friend 903 doesn`t have this marks. I`m curious if any other 903 has such marks on keyboard or is it just "special feature" of my 903

yeah I do too =)
the lines on my keyboad is from the 1 down to the star button, and 2 down to the zero button and 3 down to the pound key.
and there there is like a elypitical half circle on the bottom right circle of the keypad between the phone icon and the circle power on icon. lol

why is this anyways?

Yes, my 903 has the same marks on all keys as well. I've always wondered why they've had these marks.

I have had mine over a year & a 1/2 now and I also use the silicon skin so no scratches anywhere and the keys look like they did when I took it out of the box, a truely well made phone

This silicon skin is...
I bought black, phone looks like silicon tank in it
Never used it, I think I`m just not brave enough to use "tank phone"

Ya it does make the phone bigger, takes away from the nice design and most of my friend give me crap for it but hey it protects it since it is a large phone and a little dificult to put in your pocket all the time. It drops out of your hands pretty easy seeing that is where you have to keep it most of the time

all looks fine on mine.... no cover no nothing.... and all is ok.. except for the side silver buttons... a lil rusty... paint wore off..
