"Titan" vs. "TyTN"

HTC sleuths... perhaps you can help here.
I've been told that the XV6800 is actually the Titan and not the TyTN, and that the hw platform (circuitry, chips, etc.) will be significantly different than say the Cingular 8525.
Now, aside from the obvious difference in radio chips, the announced increase in RAM, and possible support out of the box for WM6, can anyone substantiate / clarify this issue?

the htc titan is the codename for the device in production before it gets rebranded. for example, vista was called longhorn once upon a time. the TyTN is really called the hermes for its codename. so you're comparing the hermes with the titan. the 6800 should be the sucessor to the 6700 which are both cdma. a bit confusing, i know, but that's htc for you.
