I originally bought it the day it came out, but returned it 2 days later after freezes, missed calls, and general suckitude. When my BlackJack couldnt get through the day, I decided to try the Treo again. It feel different, and has been working smoothly without any freeze ups. If anyone is waiting, nows a great time to jump on the Treo train.

And a thanks to everyone at HF, especially importluvla and rf9 for all you helpful posts.

I feel that people should hard reset once they get their device to clear up any odd bugs. But hopefully this one works great for you

a lot of users seem to notice that it runs better with a fresh hard reset. Could just clear things up you know? And glad to help in any way that I can.

I am sorry but do not think you should have to reboot a device all the time to have it work.

Now that statement, I am sure we all will agree.

Im now a couple days in, and the phones been great. Battery life has been a bit iffy, but no freezes. I do a soft reset every morning, just to be safe.

Any tips to improve battery life other than the standard screen brightness and frequency of email checking?

I am just wondering, those of you that have a Treo 750, how many of you got the unlimited data plan. I'm strongly considering buying the 750 next week and trying to figure out how much I should expect to have to put down, and how much my monthly charge will be. i'm guessing $500 plus tax initially with a $100 mib, i'll get the 900 minute/$60 a month plan, and the $40/mo. for unlimited data plan which should run me about $120/mo after taxes and fees or whatever. Does this sound about right?

Def. right on target.
