Can anyone tell me what an assistant manager gets paid?

Base Pay and commission wise?

Is it better to be one or be a manager at an indirect location?

my asm will tell you DONT DO IT, he took a huge paycut from his rep position. if your a good rep, you'll make a lot more than an ASM will. only do it if your going to be a store manager. and be prepared for a paycut!! my asm said his first check was 800 dollars less than last month's.

What exactly was his check for the month though? Including base pay and commission?

That may have been the case with the previous comp plan. With the new one im sure asms make at least the amount of a excellent rep if not more. Also, same pay with less work. I hope i can move up to asm soon.

this is true...it was on the 75% feature payout plan. its probably correct, asm pay will be about the same with the current comp plan starting in march, considering how bad they are cutting our pay. *insert grumble about useless union here*
