sync vs. v3xx?

hello all......
i am new to cingular from verizon and was wondering what the pros and cons of the cingular sync vs. the motorazr V3xx would be. my needs are minimum but if i'm getting a new phone i want it to be a good one. the only must is ringtones that sound like the actual song but both of these do that. otherwise, which of these are easiest to use, best value, etc. also, if there is another phone i'm not aware of i would welcome suggestions, thanks......

Originally, I had the Sync - for all of one day. Once I found out the V3xx had an nVidia geForce GPU and Opera 8, I simply had to switch.
