Make sure your wi-fi is connected before start IE. The wi-fi icon should have two arrows on it. Wait for the arrows to stop moving.

Also, make sure on your connection settings, there is no proxy server configured.

theres no proxy set, and the arrows never stop even when WiFi is available.

My connection setting for WiFi is:
MyISP
The button for MyISP GPRS is used
Access point name: wap.cingular

In CommMgr WiFi settings -
- Power Mode is set to best performance

Did a DSL report, it came back 925 kbps
.222s latency
0.069s d/l time

That means your Wi-Fi can not connect. Period. You need to diagnose why your Wi-Fi can not connect. You can open wi-fi setting in Comm Manager and see how is your wi-fi connecting.

Wi-fi is not something that can magically automatic connect to any wi-fi AP. You need set quite a few things to make it connect.

You mean you don't know settings like your wi-fi network id, wep or wap keys etc?
