Hello... I'm wondering if anyone else is having probs getting any P2K program to connect w/ their V3XX. I've tried P2KCommander, P2Kman and P2KTools but all say "Volume Fail" 0 Files Found or USB timeout. I've already installed drivers, PST and MPT. PST and MPT work fine with my phone. But as soon as I try a P2K program it disconnects. Any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks guys!!

If you do a quick search you will see that the creator of p2k is working on one for the v3xx...until then, none of them will work

I am having problems getting mSnap to work. I wanna take some screenshots of my V3xx and now it says, Cannot Open Device.... it's frustrating!!!!

The test command interface on the V3xx (and similar phones) is implemented completely differently than previous phones. It's more than just P2K05 vs. P2K. Let's see if s5vi can figure it out...

Ya,

V3xx (and probably MAXX) is a **** fast phone
Getting the WHOLE filelist within a second !!

So I guess you got it =)

I get the same thing now when I try to connect to Commander. It shows partitions a/b/e with so many files found but still, no list comes up. I can't wait till someone figures out this V3XX. Thanks again!!

P2kc-V4.9.2 reads/writes files and seems correctly now.

I just installed 4.9.2, but being a noob, I can't get it to see the phone...I can get the phone to connect to MPT though.

Any help on this?

What I usually do is open up P2kAutostart.exe first, then switch the phone from AT to P2k. After that, I open P2kCommander.exe and make sure it's set for P2k05. I hope that helps (I'm at my Linux box right now and am too lazy to turn on the Windows machine we have here at home to double-check).

Thanks Shemmy, but I'm just not having any luck...this is what I've done, and the results:

Started p2kautosart. Plugged V3xx phone into data cable. Autostart tool tray icon turns to a blue star, and says its connected as a memory card. I right click on the icon, and select "switch to p2k mode". Star is now yellow, but still says "connected as memory card". Last line in the log reads:
"initiate switching to p2k mode".

If I start P2Kcommander, and switch to /a, hit reread, I get "no p2k device found, NOT connected"

MPT still connects fine...I even installed the latest Moto drivers v2.6.2.0

Any other thoughts?

In fact i not tested V3xx in memcard mode, and i didnt use P2kAutostart (its code quite primitive yet)
Pls try to set your phone to data/fax mode and simply plug (with or without running P2kc)
P2kc will autodetect it and must connect (ofcourse P2k05 mode must selected in options)

Hi! Its good to hear that the V3XX connection prob has been solved!! Thanks s5vi!! Great job!! I have a prob again. I've dwnlded the new V 4.9.2 but when I connect my phone, it won't let me switch to P2K mode. I turn on Auto Switch and even clicked on Switch to P2K mode but it won't let me. It keeps saying AT mode. I am doing something wrong again? Thanks..

I had to plug in my phone, and uninstall it. Then I reinstalled the latest moto drivers v2.6.2. Now when I plug the phone in, it installed using the latest drivers, and both MPT and pkcommander work.

Posted by: jdlm

Hey thanks! I will try that.

No luck... It still won't switch to P2K mode. Only stays as an AT device.
