Went a little nuts on a 6100 and now I've got like 30 ringers, half of which are duplicates and/or don't play, and or play a different ringer than the one I chose. I know I need to delete the ringers from the file system, but I am willing to bet that I need to edit the brewRingerIndex.map file located in the brew download folder. I tried converting it to both .txt and .doc files, and then edit in notepad, wordpad, word... Nothing doing. I seem to delete some key piece of info that has been translated in numerous squares I give no consideration to deleting as they are undoubtedly being translated improperly.

Bottom Line: What software do I need to use in order to edit the .map file and how do I know which occurrences I need to delete?

Nevermind. Deleted from file system. Rebooted. Regenerated new one. Solved.
