I880 External Screen Staying Blank

I have a new I880 which is a replacement for a defective I875. The I880 is a great phone except the external screen has begun going blank while sitting. If I turn it off and on it sometimes comes back on and then suddenly it will reappear. The internal screen works fine. Has anyone else had this experience? Anyone know how to fix it without return? Thanks

do u have after markeet ring tones for that i880 im trying to get some but cant
