IrDA dialup problems

Hi ppls...has anybody used their GD87 to dialup from a PocketPC or any other PDA?
Mine tries to connect, and before the call is connected, the phone reboots itself... the PDA connection fails.

Yep, mine work fine with a palm.
My provider made a web site with all instruction for setup :

it's a pdf in french, but with many screenshot, I think it can help you.

The IRDA port is in such a odd place!
Do you guys have any problems getting it to align with the PDA?

Not any problem, even if the phone and the palm irda is not well align, I put both of them on a desk the gd87 open in front of the palm irda, a bit hard to explain. better with a drawing.
