OPUS update

not sure if anyone read it or not, but csp had an article today stating that OPUS is going to get a major update at the end of February. there is a powerpoint presentation that shows it off, kinda surprised that they're making such a major overhaul. a lot of the changes look really good, but i'm not so sure about a few of them. more or less it's supposed to cut down on the number of screens it takes to complete a transaction...which was way out of hand

Maybe they will change the person on the front screen. I'm tired of looking at her.

Maybe it will actually work most of the time and maybe we can get end of day. I don't know but that would be cool if we could activate customers instead of watching a spinning jack. Give me telegence, give me POS I or II ; heck I would even settle for lightbridge right now. Just leave Siebel out of it

I'd take Siebel over OPUS. At least it worked right towards the end and you knew it was done right.

You know OPUS will crash the first day after the update. Then once it's working again, we won't be able to do half the stuff we used to be able to.

opus is ok for some stuff, but we're so limited to what we can do, i dunno bout telegence, but when we had care, it was the bomb, it was so much easier to do stuff like transfers, number changes, splitting accounts, but they took it away, and most of that stuff is way to time consuming in opus if we can do it.

I love the name.

Lightbridge was sweet and fast but they tried to make us use Spidrweb in telesales.

Saw the updates yesterday, looks pretty cool! Hopefully the spinning jack will be gone! Also looks very AT&T-ish!

Remind me on the corporate side one more time--it was Telegence first, then OPUS?

I would give a lot to have Siebel back. when ironed it was working just fine and everything could be done in a heartbit. Telegence id fine, just slightly too many steps I believe.

it will probably be a spinning globe, or maybe even jack doing circles around the globe, either way, we will still spend most of our day staring at it.
