Dash - doesn't connect to Internet via USB... anymore

I've had my Dash for about a month now - I use it in Canada on Rogers network. My data connection is disabled by my service provider as per my request. Since day one I have been able to connect to internet and run web based Java applications via the USB conncetion to my internet connected PC. Few days ago it stopped working - now I can only connect via Wi-Fi.
I've been poking around with different settings, but can not find one that would fix it.
A word of advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
David

David:

The immediate suspect is ActiveSync 4.2. Verify that you are not using (or have not upgraded to) ActiveSync 4.2 because it does not allow Internet "passthrough" unless you make some modifications to the registry of your PC. Other than that, I'm not sure what else may be your issues unless you give more details - what changes you may have made to your WM device or to your PC.

I've had ActiveSync 4.2 installed since day 1, and it never caused me any problems with internet passthrough.
When I go into "Internet Sharing" utility, under "Network Connections" I get only two options - "T-mobile Data" and "T-mobile MMS". I could swear ther used to be "Internet" option.

I have had similar problems with my Dash.I ended up having to open some new tcp ports on my pc.They are listed in the active-sync help section. It helped to uninstall active-sync and reinstall it.
