Fan Discounts

Hey guys i m a cingular Agent and was wondering if all you other employees want to help each other out.

This could help you close deals or just make the customers happy.

I was thinking we should start making a list of all the Fan Discounts that are out there.

So if you have them pls post them so we can make a big list of them in order...

I only got 6 ot 7 but i m still looking for more

Yeh I think that would be illegal, and stupid. HF would get in trouble, and any reps that were caught get fired.

It's just alot of people would become "postal employees" very quickly if they had the fan numbers.

The FAN numbers are listed in ECPV tool.

I don't see why it would be a big deal to post them, they float around on company websites.

And that is where they should remain. Why post them to a public forum when the people that should have access to them already do?

Because were bored maybe? I dunno, I just don't see why it would be a problem, I wasn't saying it would be a benefit.

What exactly is a FAN discount? What does FAN stand for?

Foundation Account Number. It is the code for discounts through an employer for an employee of the company.

It really doesn't metter either way, because without a legit paystub you're not getting the discount anyways. I don't see a problem either way, but its whatever.

I thought it would be cool to make list for the employees.. Maybe not post it on the board. send some PMs,emails and make a list for only employees.. There are a lot out on the net, but you just have to find them.

The only way is if you abuse it and put it on random ppls account. I m new though, i m thinking only cingular employ. can put them in...

I guess I really don't understand the purpose since all of that is easiely accessible through CSP.

It's best to look it up on the ECPV.. that way you can actually tell them what their discount is. A detailed list of FAN's and Offerings here would be too difficult to maintain, especially with their already all that info on the ECPV in CSP.

It'd be a good idea if it wern't for CSP, but still Internal Company info that cannot be posted on a board by employees.

Now.. if customers wanted to start a thread detailing thier FAN # and discounts... that'd be different. Symantics.

they are on csp under "business in retail" then click "ecpv" and you can search from there. That is the way it is in COR retail anyway.

There is a link in csp under mylinks for the ECPV tool. You don't need to search for it. Keep in mind that cingular cannot stop customers from posting the information, but as has been posted, employees are not allowed to provide proprietary information like this on a public forum; and -fire-any-employee-caught-participating-in-blogs-234803.php]Sprint[/URL] an employee can be fired.

COR and Exclusive are identical.. So he's set either way.

Go in there and play around.. search for Companies that you see locally. That way when someone comes in, you're ready when you ask them "where do you work?"

FAN Discounts are a great deal closer

Employees that should have access to this information have been provided ways to obtain these numbers.

Those that have not need to ask their manager or maybe their not meant to have access to them.

In any case, such list will not be allowed here.
