hey guys, i'm new to this fourm, but have been a smartphone user for 2+ yrs. anyway i just got my 8525 in the mail yesterday and i've been playing around with it. i'm wondering what the best route is for me email-wise.

i currently use IMAP for my personal account, primarily so it is accessible from multiple locations without inconsistencies. i see there's a link on my phone for xpress mail and i did some searching on the forums to learn more about it. from what i understand, i need to have a desktop application running that basically polls an email client on the desktop to figure out what send out to the phone and maintains synchronization between the xpress mail client on the phone and on the desktop.

this seems useless to me if i plan to stick with IMAP and set pocket outlook to check email every 5-10 mins correct? just looking for a sanity check here, thanks!
