Flash menus?

So I flashed my phone using Phone XS using one the guides posted here, and it worked great and a big thanks to the guys who wrote Phone XS!!

Anyways, I wanted to know if I can just copy flash menus onto my phone? or not?

The short answer, no.

The long answer:

Flash menus have to be uploaded using PhoneXS's brute force method, or PhoneXS + FAR + SEFP method. If you're going to be doing any sort of modding that requires you to upload files more than once, i'd certainly recommend going the FAR+SEFP route, waiting for PhoneXS to brute force by itself can eat up a couple days real quick... not to mention having to start over if the battery dies :X

Anywho, flash themes consist of 2 parts. One, the .SWF file which is the actual flash lite animated menu, and the .THM file, which makes up the rest of the graphics, and tells the system which .SWF file to use for the menu. Each goes to a seperate folder during the upload process.

^is it possible if you can explain the .swf and .thm files in a bit more detail?

where does each goes??

and possible steps in how to add flash menus

SWF is the actual flash file that holds the menu

THM is a package that contains the theme (what colours of menus texts and highlights) and in it, contains an XML files that designates all these properties. Inside this XML also contains the code that links the theme to your swf file.
