Hi everyone,
I saw the Oystr @ walmart tonight for 20$ and thought that it would be a good "backup" phone. I always end up loosing my phone, and I could call cricket and have them change my esn over to the backup phone. Does anyone know if it is possible to access this phone with a datacable? I would need to install a new PRL, but that should be it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, but I didnt want to buy the phone and order the cable if it will not work...

Thanks,
Tommy

i have no idea if such a thing would even be possible, but the overriding concern here is -WHY-? vmu's kx9 series suck so much it's painful. under-powered processors, poor battery life, software glitches... waste of money to buy anything vmu.

Just stopped by walmart and they had a 14$ cingular go phone! No need to sign anything, just buy the phone and tell them you already have the prepaid cards @ home. Im gunna c if I can get a cable and if I can get any software to read the filesystem on this phone.

That's not going to work with Cricket. Cricket is CDMA, Cingy is GSM!
