hey all.
I have a game that i want to copy from my computer to my razr V3 phone (got it with new contract with t-mobile a few days ago). (btw is there a difference between the razr v3 and razor v3c?)I have a bluetooth usb adapter. I'm using the Software called "my bluetooth places" which came with this adapter. Esteblished connection and initiated file transfer with my pc and razr. Can access pictures, video and audio folder and can browse and copy the files only from these folder to my computer, but not from my pc to the folder on my razr. The error that i'm getting is "server does not support this operation" , this error i get when trying to copy any file from pc to the razr phone. it would olnly copy files that are in video, and picture formats same as in the phone. Which software would you recommend for me to actually make it possible to copy from my computer to the phone?

Is it necesarry to make any moddifications such as flexing or flashing my phone for me to actually be able to copy this game from my computer to the razr V3 phone?

Please help.

V3c is the CDMA version of the V3. All you need to do is Bluetooth the .jar file of the game to your phone, and you are done. Make sure that the game is for the V3, or for a 176x220 screen. Note: not all games that say that they work with the RAZR actually work with the RAZR. You may have to try to download a different version of it.

i am very new to bluetooth. How exactly would i go about bluetoothing it to my phone? Please man, be specific. Thanx.

PS: do you need some special software for it? like i said i'm using the software called "my bluetooth places" which came with my usb bluetooth adapter.

Note to the Op that there are several versions of the V3 out.

More that likely you got a V3R R3443U2 series phone.... so research anything you are wanting to do in depth before doing anything.

I'd suggest you head over the modmymoto, and look around on the forums over there, READ the GUIDES in the guide section.
They have some of the best walk-thru's I've seen..

PS: On most procedures you will be using a USB cable....

Alot of the programs we use access the file system of the phone on a very "low" /basic level.... Via Bluetooth such low level access is not possible..... so buy a cable.
(Hint- BIG LOTS has a set of cables for a few bucks) Just find one with the proper min-usb end and you should be all set.
