Hi all, having some issues syncing my contacts with outlook. I tried typing all my contacts into outlook and then when i synced it with my BJ, it didnt work. The contacts wouldnt show up on the phone.

When i type contacts into the phone and sync it, these contacts show up in my outlook contacts.

So what am i doing wrong?

i can go:
phone--->outlook but not outlook--->phone.

Is there something i need to do to "share" my contacts?

There is a setting in the Active Sync software to define the direction. I set it from Outlook to phone and did the initial load. Now I run the other direction so any changes made on the cell phone get backed up to Outlook.

The software does not support subfolders in Contacts (like the Nokia software does).

Nope. All items are synced both ways. What that option does is tell ActiveSync which one to pick if there is a conflict, like if you modified same contact on both phone and PC.

The only problem I had with the Blackjack is with the Notes Sync app that I installed with the CD that was in the box. Initially it only synched half of my contacts. The Note Synch was always stuck on looking for new changes. When I uninstalled the Notes Synch, my Activesync worked fine.
