How can I do a register hack to make IE in 5.0 or 6.0 for my Dash?

Kilcher advised me that I need to do a register hack to make IE in 5.0 or 6.0 for my T-mobile Dash that could help me view www.mslstratus.com on my phone and not get an error messages …I am a first timer at this and need a walkthrough…maybe by doing a register hack to make IE in 5.0 or 6.0 I could view the web page…if anyone could help me out just let me know…..

I think I got the register hack done on my phone…I Downloaded the cab at http://surrealnetworks.com/mpx/AppUnlockReg.htm and ran it. what or where would I have to go to make IE in 5.0 or 6.0 for the Dash maybe that could help me view www.mslstratus.com on my phone and not get an error messages

Did you read the suggestion 2 posts above yours? It gives DETAILED instructions on how to do exactly what you are trying to do.

I just followed the directions and tried your site mlsstratus site and it works. I get the login page

I just changed it to MSIE 5.01. It was showing 4.01 before.

go back to surreal's page and dl the regedit stg app. then in that app navigate to the registry values in the link i posted and change the values of the reistry.

Hey guys I think I know what I am doing but what I could finish doing damaging my phone…I guess I am better off printing the pages you guys send me and let someone that know what their doing…thanks for the help and for baring with me!!!

kilcher bare with me just one more minute.....when you get to the folder (User Agent) I most go to the (Templates) then to (Same as Windows XP) press Values and then go to (Default) it will say Mozilla/4.0 chage tha to 5.0 is that the way!!!!!

\\\registry\HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curren tVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\Version "MSIE 4.1"

Change the MSIE from 4.1 to 5.1 and you're set. Don't need to change anything else.
