Can't eject MicroSD from 8525

I just bought an 8525 from a guy off EBay who has a high feedback rating, yet sold me a "New" 8525 which has pry marks on the bottom of the battery cover. Anyway, I inserted a MicroSD card and now I can't eject it. Am I missing something here? Shouldn't I be able to push in on it and then it'll eject? I can't get this thing out.. Also, anyone know if there is a way to find out if a phone has been previously used or referbished? I think this guy is selling referbs or something.. there's no way this phone is new.

I had the same problem. I just used tweezers to pull it out the first couple of times. After that it loosened up enough that it would eject by itself.

Can help you with the other problem.

I managed to get the card out, after I played with it a few times the eject mechanism started working. As far as the scratches, I need some opinions. To me it looks like someone pried the battery cover off the phone instead of using the latch. Would you accept this phone? Or demand a replacement? The guy is saying the phone was sent to me factory sealed and denies it's used or refurbished, even though the phone came with a useless signal booster sticker stuffed inside the box. I'm trying to decide whether to live with it or file a dispute with paypal... the guy has a feedback rating on ebay of 400 with only 2 negatives I think.. but doesn't change the fact that this thing appears damaged. Does anyone else's look like this? Am I over-reacting and this is just how the case is molded from the factory? The pics are below...

Looks tampered with to me...if the guy values his positive feedback rating with ebay...he should be more than willing to work with you to replace the device. Just email him the photos and ask for a replacement or your money back. Let us know how it works out.
