Well ... it appears cricket mobile is not too smart. I purchased an L7c a couple of days ago ... was told you can't put files etc. on it from your PC by the cricket Rep. WRONG!!!!

The Cricket version of the L7c ... for those of you wishing to use Motorola Phone Tools .... make sure your phone tools are updated to 4.24a ... then tell phone tools that your L7c is actually an L7cm and Viola! you can copy pictures, and mp3's, ringtones, use it as a storage device (have to turn that option on in the phone settings menu). You can use the Multimedia Studio too! (You'll need to create a shortcut to it on your desktop in some cases, but it definitely works.)

Working on finding a work-around for the w315 owners out there too, since a motorola tech tells me it got its start and some of its code from the pebl U6.

I'll keep ya posted ... (if you figured it out already for the w315, would love to hear it.)

I think i am having the same problem..but i am not sure how to tell my phone its a L7cm. I use Cricket as my service provider also. I looked in my settings menu but still am not sure how to make the change. If you wouldn't mind..I would love a step by step showing me how to go in and change this. Thank You.
