Guys, I followed the directions in another post on how to setup the Teathering wtih the Blackjack.
I used the following information:
Number: *99#
Login Name: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
pw: CINGULAR1
And under Advanced I put in the modem string options:
+CGDCONT=1,"IP","WAP.CINGULAR"
I had AT in front of it originally and it worked but for some reason that stopped working and it kept giving me the 619 error.
I also switched it to modem under connections/usb.
Here is the way things happened. I set it up above exactly with AT in front of the init string. I was able to get on and work without a problem. I disconnect and my phone still had internet and worked as well. I went to setup my 2nd computer with the same thing but when I did this it would not work. It started to give me the errors. I went through the phone and didn't see anything wrong. I even did a hard reset on the phone and reconfigured it all. So then I read and found out to remove the AT. I did that, it would dial out then and connect without a problem. But when I needed to use MediaNet on the phone or the Internet again, the phone could not connect, it kept giving me a unable to connect on the phone itself. If I turn the phone off and back on it would work again.
Does anyone have advice on what this could be? I am completely lost and would like it to work the way it did before.
Thank you!

If you're using Windows PC, you don't need any of these setup at all.
Step 1. Get the phone into Internet Sharing App (under \Windows folder, you can add a short cut to your start menu for easy access). Hit connect button.
Step 2. Connect to your PC with USB (or BT). You PC should automatically be connected to Internet via phone.
It's as simple as that. No drivers. No modem config.
If you're using Mac, that's another story.

Can you explain that a little better foxbat. Not exactly sure what you mean. Thanks.

It's already covered in detail in other threads. Basically, explorer your phone using your desktop PC with ActiveSync. You will find a short cut called 'Internet Sharing' under phone's \Windows folder. You can make a copy of that short cut and move it into \windows\start menu folder so that it will now show up in your phone's start menu.

Well I have been searching a lot and never came across this. I just tried to copy the file and it would not let me due to read-only rights. Hmm.

You can copy that short cut file to your desktop. Clear the 'system' attribute and copy back to start menu folder.

Got it. Thanks. Wow I didn't have to setup a modem after all. This was much easier. lol.

That works but I still have the problem after teathering where my phones internet will not work after I disconnect. It requires me to reboot the the phone. Someone help me here.
