DASH two problems

ok two problems with my new dash...
1-i like the instant messanger program (by OZ) but for some reason no matter how i set the sound settings i always get that annoying sound when i receive an IM is there a way to change that????
2- in my contact list is there a way to just show phone memory contacts instead of having to filter it everytime i go in?

2. start -> settings -> phone -> call options -> uncheck show sim contacts
