Now I'm trying a GoPhone Sim in a Treo 750 !

The phone part seems to work fine but I can not get the Email & internet to work.

I guess you might have to make a new connection in the settings to maybe Medianet or something for it to work.

Any ideas?

With go phone monthly plans you can add Media Max for $20/month. But pay per use plans don't allow Internt use as far as I know.

Internet & Email with the Go Phone sim card in a Razr & Treo 680 with no problems at all.

Just having trouble with the 750.

I have several $100. GoPhone cards that I would not mind using up.

Do you get any internet connectivity? I mean can you check email or use a 3rd party browser and only IE doesn't work?
Or does none of the internet connectivity work?

The only reason I ask is because you can try disabling (or re-enabling) the proxy in IE to see if that changes anything. http://www.gadgetech.info/ (see treo hacks.)
But this should only make a difference if only IE is not working.
Make sure your network profile is set to "My ISP" or you can try "MEdia Net" (MEdia Net is the same thing with the proxy enabled.)

Just a thought, I have no idea if this will make any difference or not. I just have no experience with gophone SIMs. Now T-Mobile prepaid...I have one of those Too bad my 750 is still locked.

Thanks, RF9

Yea, I can not get the IE or the email to work with the go phone sim in it.
There has to be a way to get it to work as I can access Medianet & email on a Treo 680 & razr with that sim.

I'll keep messing around with it and see what happens.
