Blackjack problem listening to MP3

Does anyone else run into this problem? When I listen to music (I actually use 64kb WMA files) on Media Player, every once in awhile the music just pauses and it says "buffering". I don't know what its buffering because I'm not streaming music but listening to the files off of the micro SD card. Also, the phone also locks up where the keys either don't work or are very significantly delayed. Don't know if they are related although they seem to happen near the same time. Any thoughts on how to fix? By the way, I usually am not running anything on the phone besides Activesync, SMS and the autokeylock program. Thanks!

My first thought would be that the processor is used up. Do you know how much ram you have

That's what I thought too. I checked the task manager and I was using only 29MB out of 49MB. That wouldn't be the problem would it? I should say, I am using the phone overseas right now and not on Cingular's network. Maybe there is a setting where WMP tries to connect to the Internet or something? Thanks.

Strange problem, something that I never have run into. I have all of my music stored on my storage card and never have ran into any of those issues. I am usually floating around
26MB out of 49MB so you being at 29MG isn't an issue either.

I don't think it would have anything to do with the network because you can listen to mp3's through WMP even with no service.

Yeah, I did some searches and didn't find anyone else with this problem. I'm going to hard reset and see what happens. By the way, are you using WMP or a different player? Could that be the difference? I'm also wondering if file structure might be a problem. I use the Shuffle function on Media Player on my home computer to put songs onto the memory card. Pretty cool function but it seems to create a huge folder structure with artist name, then album. Strange...
