US Cellular MOTO RAZR VCM question

Hi there, I was reading through the forums and didn't see a topic relevant to my issue, so I hope I am not repeating the same old question over and over. Anyways, I have a MOTO RAZR VCM through US Cellular with a memory card purchased, as well. I have no problems getting music onto the memory card, or even the phone playing the music. However, when I want to use the songs as personal ringtones for certain people, it requires me to move the file from the memory card to the phone's internal memory. Well, needless to say the phone's memory filled up quick. My question to everybody out there is this:

Is there any way to get the phone to use the music from the memory card as a ring tone instead of having to move the file to the phone first?
