Well I've been on the fence about getting the 750 or the 8525. I was leaning to the 750 as my 8125 has been filled with problems...reset...reset...reset.

After reading several of the posts on the 750 & the 8525 it seems like the 8525 is ready for prime time and that the 750 is still struggling with some growing pains. I love the palm tweaks, but was wondering how they carried over to the 8525 & how hard it was to upgrade to the palm tweaks. Any advice on where to learn how to do the upgrade and experience with the tweaks (likes / dislikes) would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your input & help!

check out 8525software.com, it has the today plugin that the treo has for photo speed dial (free app). Other than that the only other feature i know of on the 750 that the 8525 doesnt have is the threaded SMS, which i hear is also available somehwere for download.

I have a 2 week old 8525 and i love it... no issues with the unit at all.

I'm using the threaded sms "tweak" on my TyTN and it works great.

When I installed the threaded SMS tweak on the 8525 I would always get 1 unread SMS after about 3 hours and I KNOW I installed it correctly.

I wish it worked right cause I loved it.

Where did you find the tweak and how hard was it to install?

thanks!
