Is there an upgraded audio driver for the loudspeaker during phone calls for the w810i? The max level is pretty pathetic compared to my old Nokia.

Try these drivers.. I'm using these and it fixes the Walkman hissing, the low earpiece volume, and the speaker is nice and loud as well.

Well I'm using those same drivers. The speaker is louder when playing music or games. But it isn't any louder during phone calls.

I agree. Hiss is gone but speakerphone volume seems the same. Not loud enough.

hmm.. thats weird.. i know the fairfield apf driver is the one for the speaker, but it seems strange that the volume is louder overall but not for calls.. as a test, I replaced back the old acoustics and compared the volume. With the qwerty drivers, the volume was higher for me (in a call), and the treble seems to be way high as well..

i'll keep thinking about this one.. might be worth it trying to play with the fairfield file from the acoustics driver.

I'm so confused. I'm planning to increase the call volume through the earpiece, and there are so many different versions of the acoustic drivers out there.

People are reporting that some of them have treble all the way up, while the bass is the same. Some are just acoustics for the w810i. Some have MegaBass working. Etc. etc.

My main priority is to increase call volume in the earpiece. Can someone point me in the right direction? The volume in the earphones when I use the walkman is already high enough - I listen to it at less than half volume.

Thanks!

try those qwerty drivers I posted above to increase earpiece volume.
