How to Silent/Mute Blackjack Completely?

Hey guys....I just converted from a Blackberry 7130 (verizon) to a blackjack. Love the phone but I want to be able to mute the phone or silent the phone. When i put the phone in silent mode the phone still vibrates and there is no option to turn the vibrate off....and the vibrate wakes my a** up. :-) Am i missing something on how to mute this thing?

Go into profiles and edit them. I changed one of them so now I have something called Nothing.

Ring type: Silent
Ring volume: off
Alarm type: Play sound
Alarm volume: off
Notification type: play sound
Notification volume: off
System sound volume: off

Won't make any sounds now. Perfect for meetings when even the vibrate wouldn't work, movies, church, what ever....

Thanks for posting this thread. I was just signing on to post this exact thread

One thing I dont like is that under notification type there isnt a way to just set it to "silent". Rather, you have to set it to "play sound" and volume "0". Why didnt they just put a silent setting under notifications?

You may not have to completely mute the sound, but there is a button next to the "space" that will vibrate the phone without going through settings. It will just vibrate and not ring.

ahhh i got it now...the notification thing got me confused, i set that to sound and than volume to off...perfect!

is anyone else having a problem where if your Other Sounds settings (say to play a sound when a new email arrives, etc) get reset automatically after awhile? I can't tell if this occurs after I turn the phone on/off or if they just reset on their own.... I notice it because I miss emails notifications because the setting gets reset to none instead of sms, etc. thx - big problem for me!
