Blackjack: Switched to Media Max, now internet doesn't work.

I was on the PDA Connect plan on my new Blackjack. My rebate was just mailed last week, so I went ahead and switched over to the new Media Max 200. I don't teather and I only check IMAP mail every now and then.
However, after I switched over on their website, and approved the switch, my internet dropped and hasn't come back up again. I can get to Cingular Mall, but when I try to get to a wap site like google, it says:
ERROR
The remote party has ended this connection
I see the E come up instead of the antenna graphic on the upper right hand side, so it is trying to get to the edge network, but it disappears right after I try to connect and goes back to the antenna. So either it isn't finding a Edge signal or something else is fishy.
I didn't change any settings after this service change so I thought that maybe I had to change something. I tried changing from wap.cingular to isp.cingular and I could browse the web no problem. wap sites worked like a champ. However, I changed it back to wap.cingular because I have read that isp.cingular does charge for use if you aren't on the PDA Connect plan.
I have tried rebooting my phone but that didn't work. I am at a stuck point now where I can't surf the web or check my mail. Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Did you make sure the proxy was still set up? I could only use wap.cingular w/the proxy, without it I got the same message.

The proxy is still set up.
connects from: The Internet
connects to: WAP Network
Proxy: wireless.cingular.com:80
type: HTTP
No username or password
There has to be something I am missing here.

Did you make sure the box for "automatically detect settings" was left unchecked?

Yes, the box for detect settings is left unchecked. I am going to call Cingular about this I suppose. Maybe the automated system screwed up when I changed my plan from PDA Connect to Media Max 200.

Obviously, if I change my WAP settings to the isp.cingular then I can connect. However, since I am on media max now, will I get billed for that? Maybe it is just an outage in my area.

Problem resolved! What a pain!
When I changed the account online, it didn't add the Media Max 200 plan like I asked it to. It removed the PDA Connect, but my account still had some of the PDA Connect stuff on it. The CSR removed all the PDA Connect stuff and added the Media Max 200 without hesitation. Everything is now working fine.
Blah!
