Treo 750 POP3 w/Cingular not working

I have tried to set up a POP3 account on my new Treo 750 but cannot send and receive. I have check all my settings several times and then contacted Cingular's data department to recheck configuration. After 90mins of testing, they said to do a warranty exchange. Same problem on new phone. Any suggestions???

Incoming: mail.comcast.net
Outgoing: cwmx.com

My ISP is Comcast and I am on the GPRS network.

I'm able to receive POP3 email from my ISP. I can't send anything, though.

EDIT: I fixed the outgoing mail server and now my POP3 email works correctly.

Have you tried using "My ISP" instead of MEdia Net to send and receive email? Cingular recommends this, and to only try MEdia Net if "My ISP" fails.

I am using "My ISP" and have not tried MediaNet.

I'm able to use pop3 just fine. If you cant get yours working, exchamge it.

cwmx.com is the correct setting for outgoing, i had to use that with my n73 also had same issue.

I originally used SMTP.comcast.net but Cingular told me that CWMX.com should be used as the outgoing server. I will change back to SMTP.Comcast.net to see what happens.

As for errors, I only receive a message stating that the messages cannot be downloaded do to incorrect loggin.

The status of the email seems fine as I can see it login, connecting, downloading messages, but no messages are sent or received.

i made a post that i could not send email except to people in my domain...

i changed my outgoing server to cingulars and everything got fixed.

i love it now.
