How do you upload pics from Pearl to a PC?

I'm on a trial period with 8100 Pearl, and I don't have blackberry data plan or blackberry connect.

On my Sony Ericsson Z800i, photos could be uploaded to a PC with a USB cable.

I connected the USB syc cable to the Pearl, then to the PC. Not working.

I am trying really hard to change my cel from SE to the Blackberry 8100 & 8800 over Treos.

Use the Media Manager funciton within Desktop Manager to transfer media files back and forth.

I don't have a memory card in my Pearl. Would Desktop Manager still work?

You can still use the media manager function in the desktop manager even if you don't have a MicroSD card in your BlackBerry Pearl.
