Flexing my V551 - Some Basic Questions

Hi,

Thanks to many of you who responded to my questions regarding my phone -- see the following link for details of the problem http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1066615

indeed, it turned out to be the flex cable. I bought the first one from ebay, and broke it in the process, just around the corner when the cable connects to the keypad and the flip. Anyhow, I ordered a second one, and I am happy and proud to say I successfully replaced it....my first time ever.

So, now, i am getting ready to do some flexing and moding. I am getting the basics ready:

* I have an OEM cable (and have successfully used it to backup my Contacts).
* I am downloading the following

1. FlashBackup to back my phone
2. Motorola RSD Lite 3.2 & 3.3
3. P2K Drivers 2.9 (Newest Drivers)
4. P2K Tools Version 0.8.6 build 406
5. Motorola Mobile Phone Tools 4.3.6c

I am thinking of using a Moster pack to flex the phone. My bootloader gives the following information:

Boot Loader
07.E0
SW-Version: R47_G_08.17.0F R_01

The phone is unlocked, and I am with Cingular. I have a couple of questions.

First, what Monster pack could I use for this phone -- any suggested sources?

Secondly, how do I know which MP is the latest - by the release date or language pack ?

I also have a V551 and am looking for a flash /flex. I would appreciate anyone helping us out as to where we might find some .shx files for the V551.
