Need U.S. Cellular KRZR help...

Upon recommendation from another member, I'm reposting my question here with hopes of getting a bit of info.

Here's what I need help with -- uploading videos from my phone to my computer. I changed the connection settings to USB instead of Modem/COM and when I plug the USB cable in, my computer recognizes that the phone is connected as a storage device...but then when I go into My Computer to open it and get the video file, my computer tells me to insert a disk into Drive G. This is what I can't figure out. I probably need some kind of software that came with my phone, but I have no idea what I did with the box and everything in it. It's probably packed in one of the 20 boxes I left in storage after I moved. OR as suggested by others in my first thread, I need a memory card. If that's the case, where do I get one and how large of a capacity do I need?

Thanks in advance.

First off, pm me for a link to motorrla phone tools. I have had no problems using it. Do you have a memory card? The K1m will use up to a 1gig micro sd card. Also, what kind of video file are you trying to transfer? I believe the K1m will only play 3G video files. Hope this helps.

I also use Moto phone tools to transfer vids back and forth. I leave my phone in modem state.

within phone tools use the multimedia section. THere is a file transfer option.

The easiest way to move movies back and forth would be to get a micro SD card and save your phone movies to the card. Then pop the card in your PC and you are good to go through my computer.

Someone posted a link on here for kingston cards for $10 bucks.

You can also find them in stores for around $25 or less. I got one for 25 canuck bucks.

Yes you need a memory card. Just search eBay, Amazon, or your etailer of choice for "MicroSD" cards. Not regular SD or MiniSD, but micro. You can't easily find them smaller than 256MB and the K1m doesn't handle cards larger than 1GB.
