I purchased a stand alone BlackJack no plan.
Can I use it with my 64k Cingular sim from my Nokia 6101 or should I use the 3g sim the phone came with and call cingular to transfer it? There is little 3g coverage anyway where I live( Long Island NY) so it meay be moot.
Does 3g require a new Sim?
My intent is to add media max plan. I currently switch sims between the 6101 and a 3650 and it works fine.
Anyone get 3g in Suffolk County NY?

i would get it. some people say that you need a 3g card for hsdpa/utms calls but some say no

It turns out my old sim says 3g on the back..even tho it doesnt have the new fancy 3g logo on front. So I should be good to go.
