In hopes of avoiding repetition.....

Is it possible to connect via USB to cingular's edge network with a Moto Razr V3 (laptop connect)? Is additional software required to do so (excluding communication manager on cingular's website)??? What edge class is the razr?

Were adding an unlimited laptop connect plan.

any other additional iinfo would help....

thanks,

cingular assigned classes to the edge network. essentially the same as edge. GPRS class's were not advertised like the edge network was.

ANYWAY, so using the razr as a wireless modem would be possible with just the communication manager???

Can you elaborate on "class 10 GPRS"? How can one tell if it is available on the phone; find out more info; difference between classes; etc.?

Most of that stuff is just phone specs, you can find that info on phonescoop.com or cingular's website. Phone scoop is great because you can compare diffrent phones and models. Sometimes they specify what class edge/gprs the phone is.

Still...............anymore comments on the Razr and laptop connect?
