i bought one 2 weeks ago.....and i hate the branded menu....... and when i play music on the speaker, it sounds really low.... can ANYONE PLEASE be so kind to help me do this? i saw the guides, but they all say different things... please, if anyone can, IM me an please help me.... i'm desperate...

Well, I did mine after reading this thread 4-5 times (it was only 6 pages long then) and it worked just fine on both the 810's I have done it with.
Only problem is the TopSony site no longer offeres free downloads, so you may have to search for some of the files (but they may all be linked in the thread, I don't rememeber).
Just remember, it takes a while and may take 2-3 tries at 2-10 hours per try. While it is technicaly impossible to brick your phone doing this, the computer you use may not ever finish the process and you could be stuck with a nice paperweight unless you pay to flash (with Wotan or Davinchi).
