Good price, but now Everyone will have it before long!!!

So I'm off to the store for something new. Should it be an 8525 or a Treo 750.

Wow, good price. less than $100 after the rebate. Im gonna be pissed when I see every high schooler in atlanta walking around with a blackjack in their hand, knowing they only paid $100 for the thing.

I don't believe you can get the rebate when buying from Wal-Mart. I'm not positive, cause I've never heard of anyone trying.

Yeah cept I dun think Wally's World of Wireless gets the same MIR's as COR, and more traditional agents get.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I have never any mention of a MIR on any big box agents, except like RadioShak, which does an RS rebate.

CompUSA is supposed to have the BlackJack for $99 starting on Sunday. I'm not sure if there are rebates involved or what type of service plans will be required. Check your circulars.

Not every Wal Mart will have it. Some carry different phones. I have one that I call on that has a Treo 650, but none of my other 10 have it.

Good prices if you can find it though!

Actually, the more people that start using Windows Mobile, the better for everyone. That means more selections, better developer support due to increased software demands, and maybe a better chance of getting a WM6 upgrade!

thats a good price but you can get the blackjack free from may of the online places like I think wirefly etc.. I saw that as i was looking for my new treo 750.

you know, I gave this some more thought.

How many 'teenagers' will be able to afford this phone? Buying it is one thing, but I am looking at a $150 a month cell bill ($40 voice/40 pda/ 20 3000text/+ taxes) plus the odd ringtone and game.

It is hard to stomach and I make about 70k a year.

I know that's how all these college students around me seem to be driving brand new $30k+ cars. Heck, some kid last year was tooling around in a viper. Nice.

Remember - these kids don't have to work for it, and they don't have rent, utilities, or any other normal "adult" expenses. Of course they can afford it!

Wirefly is a SCAM...check out their "rebate requirements"
