KRZR k1m Picture ID doesn't work...

My girlfriend just got a krzr and loves it. However, we have been sitting here trying to figure out why, when a picture id is set, that no picture shows for that caller when calling or receiving a call. It's just blank.
We took a picture of me, set it as my caller ID, then I called her phone. Nothing.
When I went to edit that picture, it even states "Picture set as ID, edit?" which sort of confirms that the camera is setting it as the picture id (and we're hopefully just not retarded
)
On my VX7000 there's a picture ID/ringer ID on/off option, but it does not have this on her phone anywhere. We both have that same VZW interface.
Anyone else have this problem?

I guess I'm the only one with this problem

I got the same exact problem with my new K1m purchased from Verizon a week ago. Did you ever find the answer?
PS: sorry to resurrect an old thread, but this is the only thread I can find had similar issue.

I've had ridiculous problems with the Razr, the Krzr, the Slidr, you name it. Flaws that are completely baffling that they did not come up in testing that are impossible to shrug off. I've never known anyone to ever enjoy motorola phones.
Answer: Stay away from them. They are complete GARBAGE. I will never own a motorola phone. Ever. Again. Period.

Could it have to do with where you have the number stored? I know custom ringtones for individuals don't seem to work unless the phone number is actually stored on the phone and not the sim card.

Right, for ringer & picture ID's to work for any given contact, their info has to be stored to the phones internal memory, not the SIM. For instance, for the few people that I want to set ringer and/or picture ID's for, I store those to the phone's memory and the rest to the SIM.
If yours it set correctly and still doesn't work, sorry but I don't know.
