Hi! I had a Vodafone live! branded V525, which I flashed and flexed to a standard V600. Since then, my SMS get splitted into multiple "pages" even when they're less than 160 characters. I did not make exact measurements, but I would say that I get the first split at about 60 characters. If I send a SMS with 160 chars, it gets splitted into...
THREE messages!
Never seen this problem with my original software version... Is there a seem to edit somewhere, or maybe I'm using the wrong "charset" (language pack)?
Can anybody help?

hey mate,

Have been modding for a while now, but never seen someone with your problem, what i could recommend to u is to flash with another v600 sw, maybe it is a bug with the software u flashed with. keep me updated if u need help

and don't pay attention to idiot ism that is going around lately

Hi there,

Thanks for your message. I had this problem right after flashing my V525 with the V600 retail monster pack (TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.72R). Now I reflashed with TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.75R and the problem has been solved... Maybe I was the first to use the 72R with French special characters (accents)... Anyway, now everything is ok again.

Cheers,
Fred
