still having trouble getting act & outlook contacts into Pearl

I run Act 2006
& Outlook 2007

I have imported my Act contacts into Outlook

When I go to Desktop Mgr & setup sync from Outlook it looks like all is going well:
- it reads for outlook address book
- it processes handheld address book
- then it asks me to confirm or cancel & I confirm & it looks like its working & then I get error "unable to write or update application"

Anyone help me get thru this

You must have an empty space in one of the name fields. I had an empty contact and it prevented me from copying my contacts over too. After I deleted it, everything synced just fine. So sort by name and see what comes up. I think it has something to do with the names of your contacts.

I use Companionlink Pro and it syncs effortlessly. I don't use outlook, but I do use ACT! 2006 with my BB8100
